Henrik Nüberlin describes himself as a structured but chaotic person, survivalist and amateur philosopher. He is studying journalism and has lived in Innsbruck for four years. Having arrived here without a fixed plan, Innsbruck quickly became his second home and a playground for realising his theories and ideas. In his free time, Henrik enjoys organising events with the Dachziegelflow association, from open mics and small concerts to a series of hip-hop events. At TEDxInnsbruck, he is responsible for marketing and ticket sales.
"I take a very critical view of how social and political discourse has developed over the recent years. The bridges, across which we have approached each other, which have made it possible to form a ‘we’ in our society - despite our increasingly polarizing opinion culture - are ailing. As humans, it is important to recognize that we function best together. This means that I listen to you, even if you do not represent my opinion and that my opinion is not worth more than yours. I’m convinced that we are always smarter together and therefore all people should have the right to express their opinions and thoughts unconditionally.“ - Henrik Nüberlin
